  1. Golden Agro has the property title and water rights for Fazenda Jatobá I.
  2. The lotting has 32 lots of, with an average of 540 ha., which adds up to a useful faming surface of up to 17.301 ha.
  3. Se same amount of hectares will be destined for natural preservation in an already defined area next to the lotting.
  4. Every lot will have water access through a canal, outlined from Sao Francisco river, one of the rivers with highest water flow of the world: 3.000 m3/s, which equals 0,8 lts/seg x ha. which will allow irrigation to the entire farming surface with no problem.
  5. There will be an allocation process for 26 available lots (6 lots already allocated).

Location

Sao Francisco Valley, 10 kms away from the town of Pilao Arcado, and 786 kms away from the city of San Salvador da Bahía, State Capital.

Lotting

The total area was divided into 8 irrigation blocks, totalling 32 blocks, that make up 17.301 ha. (with an average of about 540 ha. each lot), from which 26 will be available for allocation.

Weather

The municipality of de Pilão Arcado – Bahía, is located in the semi-arid región of Brazil, and has low leaf vegetation, adapted for drought seasons, and also has a wide biodiversity.

Like every semi-arid región in the planet, precipitation is very irregular time and space-wise, being November through April the main rainy period in the northeast semi-arid región of Brazil, especially in the São Francisco Valley.

Soil

The soil has Sandy/Sandy- loam characteristics, which is suitable for early crops, since it’s easy to work with, even in humid conditions. It has good drainage and a low density texture, it usually dries very fast and keeps humidity for a short time, which is why it needs constant irrigation.

Water

Every lot will have water supply through a canal coming from São Francisco river.

A draft was made in which the real water flows for every lot was estimated, as well as every technical implementation variable.
